Crafting Hope

Next date Friday 3rd March 2023 raising money for Network Counselling & Training.  Tickets cost £10, payable on the evening, Book here

Join us for another evening of crafting fun together, raising funds for the Network counselling & training. Tickets are £10 with all proceeds going to Network, which we will hear more about on the night over nibbles and drinks.
For our led craft we will be using up your old nail varnish to create beautiful new creations, fit for a mothers day or Easter gift, or you can add to our window display for Bishopston Window Wanderland that weekend.
If you have an old nail varnish you want to use up, bring it along, but we will have some here if you still love all your varnish!
If you have any old pound coins or a jar of small change, Network will gratefully receive all additional donations of these on the night.  To find out more about what Network offers (a head of the evening) take a look here

What is Crafting Hope? Crafting Hope was born out of a desire to connect with others in our community over craft & more than craft for ourselves we wanted to use it as a way to bless others. Our Crafting Hope evenings are a fun way to craft together through several lead crafts and we bless others in two ways, firstly - the proceeds from ticket sales go to our nominated charity. Secondly - you will get to take away your craft and we hope it might be something you wouldn't be embarrassed to give away as gift to bless someone else.

What is included in the ticket cost? The ticket cost covers refreshments for the evening along with all the supplies to make your crafts.

Who is it for? Our Crafting Hope evenings are for anyone, crafty or not, it's all about getting to know others in the community, and we find that over a craft can be a good way to do that! Especially when making things with a purpose that others can enjoy and raising funds to support the work of charities in Bristol and beyond. The crafts are not really suitable for primary age children, but those at secondary are very welcome.

Who does the money from ticket sales go to? We select a different charity each time who we have connections with Cairns Road, on the evening we will hear more about that organisation and all of our proceeds get sent on to them. At previous evenings we have raised money for One25, Webox appeal & Unseen

Can I still come if I can't afford the ticket? Yes! Whilst we want to bless the work of charities we also want to support our local community around Cairns, spending time with others especially over a creative activity can be invaluable for our wellbeing, so we would love you to come. Please just drop Ruth an email a head of time on community@cairnsroad.org

If you would like to 'gift' the cost of a ticket in place of someone who may not be able to afford it, please get in touch with Ruth.

What will we be making? You will find out more about the crafts for the evening on the booking page but below are some of the things we have made in the past...
