Event at Cairns Road on Thursday 25th February 2010 at 7.45pm.

Are you concerned about injustice?

Poverty, human trafficking, unfair trade, racism, inequality...?

At Cairns Road Baptist Church, we have been concerned about these issues for many years, which is why we have been involved with Fair Trade (which has at last spilled over into the high street), support for Stop the Traffik events (to prevent human trafficking), the One25 Project (supporting women trapped in a life of street sex work), fundraising for a church social outreach centre in Sofia, Bulgaria; and involvement in the Khayelitsha township in South Africa.

Are there matters of injustice that you are concerned about? Some of us are gathering on Thursday February 25th 2010 at 7.45pm in the foyer of the church, here at Cairns Road Baptist Church.

Please come and join us, whether you do not understand justice issues but wish you did, or are passionate about justice issues and want to meet others who are too.

We want to continue and invigorate our attention to a wide range of justice issues amongst the community of people who use Cairns Rd Baptist Church. Concern for justice is widespread, and we would like to hear your views and benefit from the input of all the people who access Cairns Road Baptist Church.

Prayer evenings are on the first and third Sunday evenings of every month, 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

April 20th to 26th April - a week of prayer as a church for Dave & Elaine.

The church will be open for prayer on Monday,
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 7.30pm and also on Wednesday at 5.30pm (especially so that our youngsters can be involved). We will also pray together on Sunday 26th April at 7.30pm.
