Café

Many people pass through the church buildings during the week. So in 2004 we opened a café to give parents, carers, and others from the locality the opportunity to relax over good food and coffee, develop friendships and explore issues of the Christian faith. Unlike most cafés, toys are available for the toddlers so that they can come too.

The café has been busy ever since!

The café is open during term time on Monday and Friday, 9 till 2, Wednesday 10.15 till 2. During half term and holidays, there is restricted opening, dependent upon availability of staff. Check with the café for details, which are always posted up well in advance.

Noah's Ark Pre-school

Noah's Ark Pre-school has been running for 20 years as part of the church here. It is OFSTED approved and has its own charitable status. The purpose is to provide quality pre-school education within a caring Christian environment.

The Pre-school currently accommodates over 80 children each week and employs up to 22 staff overall.

Senior Citizens Lunches

We provide lunch for Senior Citizens (post retirement age) once a month, which includes good food, an opportunity to develop and maintain friendships, and a short epilogue. These are open to all, and we welcome any senior citizens from the local community.

The home-cooked lunch is provided on the first Tuesday of each month, from 12 to 2 at a cost of £2.

Who do I contact?
The lunches are organised by a small team. If you would like to come, or find out more, please contact the church office and one of the team will get in touch.

Community Gospel Choir

We have a Community Gospel Choir, led by Geraldine Latty, that brings together those in the churches and local community. The choir rehearses and performs Gospel Music in local venues. If you would like to be part of the choir, you can contact Geraldine via the church office. Rehearsal and concert dates are on the calendar.

Groups for Enquirers

There are different groups that give opportunity to look into the issues of faith in the 21st century in a non-threatening way.

If you would like more information, contact the church office.

Parenting Classes

We run parenting courses to help us learn together how we can best care for our children at each stage of their lives, and be good parents. The courses provide an environment to share and learn from each other.
